Confirmation pre-recorded messages will be on our You Tube channel here.  Pastor, or another large group leader, will post a pre-recorded "large group lesson" to our YouTube channel. Each student will receive a worksheet to complete as they watch the video. After the large group lesson, each student will meet with their "small group leader" via zoom. Within the small group, the leader will review the answers to the worksheet, ask each student what their "highs" and "lows" of the week were, provide them with information about any upcoming community service activity, talk and get to know one another, etc.

Confirmation students will also be asked to complete Worship Summaries. The form can be found below for downloading. Families can either come to Sunday morning in person indoor worship at 8:00 am or 10 am, or watch the live stream service at 10:00 am here on our YouTube channel, or come to Monday evening in person indoor worship at 7:30 pm (Sunday morning 8 am or 10 am and Monday evening worship at 7:30 pm are by Evite invitation only and seating is limited to up to 50 people). Parents will receive an weekly email reminder. Students are to hold onto these summaries as we will begin collecting them again. Each student is required to complete 2 worship summaries a month. We also ask that you bring your child/children for Holy Communion at least once a month.

We will continue with our Community Service activities this year but as you can guess they will be very different. Please see below for the the Confirmation Service Activities listing. As each activity approaches, we will provide guidelines as to how each activity will be run. We would like to have our Confirmation students continue to help those in need within our community and abroad.

There are many ways to continue to grow in our individual faith walks at Abiding Presence. We have many opportunities to offer support, fellowship and build relationships within our church walls and in our communities. We generally meet for weekly Bible study at 10:30 am on Wednesdays in the choir room of Abiding Presence Church. However, due to the pandemic, we are currently meeting via Zoom.  The Zoom link for Bible study can be found on this page.  You are welcome any time!

The men at Abiding Presence are great cooks and are often found in the church kitchen cooking for others. They also enjoy Bible study and fellowship together. They generally meet on the first and third Saturday of each month in our fellowship hall from 8:00 am to 9:30 am and enjoy a great breakfast and a wonderful study. However, due to the pandemic, they are currently meeting via Zoom. The Zoom link for Men's Bible study can be found on this page.

Our Women’s Bible Study group meets via Zoom every other Thursday evening, at 7:00 pm.  If you would like to join our group, please contact Jean Oblak at The Zoom link can be found on this page prior to our meeting.  If you are interested in learning more about this group, please contact Jean Oblak at 631-897-7341 or
