    This is the opportunity to explore our faith through the Bible, other books and seasonal themes during Lent and Advent. Meaningful discussion and laughter are common during this hour as we all share our beliefs and personal experiences.  We are currently reading The Book of Numbers. Check here for meeting updates.   • Men's Breakfast and Bible Study -  Good Shepherd Hall

  • Pasta and the Word

  • Women's Book Club

    We will be discussing Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry. The story follows two competing writers on Little Crescent Island as they attempt to chronicle the life of a reclusive, scandalous heiress. It promises to be a dazzling and sweeping tale. All are welcome!

  • Fiesta de Mayo Fundraiser

    Saturday, May 2, 6:30pm

    The cost is $45 per person and includes appetizers, dinner, and dessert. Wine, beer, soft drinks, sangria, and margaritas will be available for purchase. There will be raffle baskets, a 50/50 raffle, games, prizes, and music provided by a professional DJ. RAFFLE BASKETS NEEDED: We are collecting assembled raffle baskets for this event. Donations can be dropped off at the display table in the narthex.  Registration for this event is via Eventbrite. 


  • Mother/Daughter Tea

    Saturday, May 9, 3:00 pm

    You are cordially invited to a special Mother/Daughter Tea,  at Abiding Presence Church. The cost is $10 per adult and $5 for children under 12. While this is a Mother/Daughter Tea, sons are warmly welcomed and encouraged to attend. Adult guests are encouraged to wear a high-tea party hat and to bring their own special teacup, saucer, and tea pot. Girls are invited to bring their favorite doll and children's tea set (cups, saucers, or a teapot) to enhance the tea party experience. Crafts will be provided for the children. The girls will also make a flowered crown to present to their mothers. For those adults and girls without a tea set and pot to bring, one will be provided. Traditional finger sandwiches will be served as well as peanut butter or cream cheese and jelly, cupcakes and scones. Check here for reserved seating. May 3 is the deadline to register. We look forward to sharing this special occasion with you and your family.

  • Mother's Day Brunch

    Sunday, May 10

    Join us as we celebrate all mothers with a special brunch immediately following worship on Sunday, May 10. We invite everyone to attend and enjoy a time of fellowship and appreciation for the mothers and special women in our lives. Donations of baked goods are greatly appreciated to help make this event extra special. Please sign up at church or call the office 631-269-6454 to attend so we can plan accordingly. We look forward to celebrating together!

  • Rainforest Falls VBS 2026

    Save the date August 10 - 14

    Come experience a week of fun with Abiding Presence Lutheran Church during Rainforest Falls VBS "Where Faith Grows and Adventure Begins" August 10 - 14 from 9am -12noon. Each day will include Bible lessons, music, crafts, snacks, and games in a rainforest themed setting. Just $70 for a week of fun in a safe, caring, and nurturing environment! (Youth Crew Leaders/Assistants $25 to cover the cost of supplies.)

    Children Age 3 - Grade 5 are welcome to attend. Older children can sign up as Crew Leaders/Assistants. Check here to register online. We can't wait to share this exciting Rainforest adventure with you!
