Abiding Presence Preschool

We have been part of the community for over 40 years and we are grateful for that! As we teach children, it is our responsibility to understand how they learn so we can help them develop in a positive way. We offer opportunities that inspire them educationally and creatively in a safe, healthy environment to let them SHINE!

Spiritually - we are reminded at Chapel each week how to be faithful, kind people and that God loves all of us.

Healthfully - we are outdoors daily for exercise and fresh air. If not outdoors, we are in our huge indoor play area. Active play gives children the opportunity to explore and practice gross motor skills. Our classrooms have air purifiers and air conditioners.

Intellectually - we challenge and support children, so they are ready for kindergarten and eager to learn. We work with the expectations of the area school districts. Our curriculum includes science, social studies, math and literacy skills.

Nurturing - social engagement gives children time to interact with their peers. Open minds and hearts embrace children with acts of love and kindness. Our preschool’s nurturing atmosphere builds lifelong friendships.

Emotionally - Our teachers implement their skills to provide opportunities for children to exhibit self-confidence and worth, skills of sharing, self-regulation and independence.
