School Supplies Collection
We are collecting school supplies now through Monday, August 17 for students in need. Please consider donating to help support a successful start to the school year. Donations can be brought to church on Sunday or dropped off during church office hours Monday – Friday from 9:30am to 1:30pm. You can also order online and have supplies shipped directly to Abiding Presence Church. Monetary donations are also acceptable and appreciated! Supplies will be distributed August 24 – 28.

Boy Scout Troop 539 Car Wash at Abiding Presence Church
Stop by before or after worship on Sunday, August 23 from 9:00am – 11:00am for a fresh car wash and help the Scouts raise funds for a 2027 Sea Base Adventure in the Florida Keys. The suggested donation is $20.00. Thank you for your support!

2026 Abiding Presence Lutheran Church Volunteer Service Award
Although the Presidential Volunteer Service award is no longer available, Pastor Schoepflin has chosen to continue recognizing the dedication and commitment of our volunteers through the Abiding Presence Volunteer Service Award. This award honors individuals who share their time and talents in service to our church and community. Applicants can find the necessary submission forms here. The deadline date is Monday, August 31.

Blessing of Backpacks

During 9:30am worship on Rally Day, September 13, we invite all students to bring their backpacks for a special blessing. This meaningful moment reminds us that God goes with us into the school year. Each participant will receive a tag or token of encouragement to carry with them as a reminder of God’s love and our support.
