  • Wednesday Morning Bible Study

    This is the opportunity to explore our faith through the Bible, other books and seasonal themes during Lent and Advent. Meaningful discussion and laughter are common during this hour as we all share our beliefs and personal experiences.  We are currently reading The Book of Numbers. Check here for meeting updates.   • Men's Breakfast and Bible Study -  Good Shepherd Hall

    8:00am

  • Coat Drive for Pasta and the Word

    New and gently used coats, hats, scarves and gloves are being collected to be distributed at Pasta and the Word in January and February. There is a collection bin in the church narthex. 

  • Souper Bowl of Caring

    Cans of any type of soup, non-perishable foods and supermarket gift cards are being collected in the narthex through Sunday, February 8. Canned goods can also be purchased online and shipped directly to Abiding Presence Church at 4 Trescott Path Fort Salonga NY 11768. Monetary contributions are also appreciated. Please include “Souper Bowl” in the memo line of your check.

  • Women's Book Club

    Thursday, February 12, 6:30 pm

    We will be discussing "How to Say Babylon", a memoir by S Sinclair. How to Say Babylon is the stunning story of the author’s struggle to break free of her rigid Rastafarian upbringing, ruled by her father’s strict patriarchal views and repressive control of her childhood, to find her own voice as a woman and poet.   • Pasta and the Word

    Saturday, February 21, 10am - 2pm

    Join us at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wyandanch, the third Saturday of every month, where we prepare and distribute hot and cold meals to those in need. Contact Lisa McCaffrey for volunteer opportunities and current donations needed lmccaffrey@hotmail.com. 


  • Lenten Potluck Suppers

    Wednesdays, February 25 - March 25

    A potluck supper will precede the evening Lenten worship on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm. If you plan to attend, please sign up at the narthex table at church or contact the church office at 631-269-6454 and indicate the dish you will be bringing to share.

  • Candlelight Concert at Abiding Presence Church

    Saturday, February 28, 7:00 pm

    $38.00 per person. The Quarantined Quartet is a family based musical group. They perform guitar-based music that blends Flamenco, classical, and acoustic styles and have been featured on national TV shows like GMA and CBS News.  Check here for online registration.

  • Teen Night

    Sunday, March 15, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

    All teens are welcome to join us for fun with friends, games, food, and faith! Bring friends and make new ones in a safe, welcoming, relaxed space just for teens! We will be baking cookies and preparing meals for Pasta & The Word. Please call the church office if your child would like to participate 631-269-6454. There will be an hour of community service included.
